Faculty Promotion
NCKU’s Faculty Promotion System 1 outlines criterion for advancement from Assistant Professor to Professor, emphasizing diverse contributions in research, teaching, and service.
Faculty members can choose interdisciplinary achievements in academic research, teaching innovation, technology development, artistic creation, or sports competition based on their expertise as the basis for their promotion review.
Specialized policies include Promotion Guidelines for Scarce Technological Talent, Establishment of Distinguished Professorships, and Establishment of Chair Professorships.
